On June 15, 2016, the Spring 2016 Grace & Ada fellows graduated from Hackbright’s Fellowship Program. It has been an honor and a blast working with these amazing, brilliant, hard working individuals.
This was the first time Hackbright had two cohorts going on at the same time. I had the pleasure of working with the Grace cohort which had 21 kick ass ladies. Over the 10 weeks I got to know them and learn from them. This group was amazingly supportive and connected. For almost every social (every Friday, they are invited to stay, eat, hang out and decompress from the week), they ate all together – connecting the four large tables so everyone can sit together. There were many laughs, tears, frustration and triumphs. I am so incredibly proud of the growth, dedication and grit it took for each of them to go through this bootcamp. I am going to miss these ladies, but I cannot wait to see what they do next!
